For the sporty participants who would like some outdoors activities during their stay in Trondheim, we will organize an orienteering race in the outskirts of Trondheim. We will provide two different courses one for people with some prior experience and one easy course for everyone who is able to walk paths in the forest.
For the easy course you should bring leisure wear and shoes suitable for walking on forest paths. The more advanced course will leave the paths for some parts of the course, possibly wet and dirty ground, and you should make sure to bring clothes and shoes that are suitable for these rough conditions. We will have some compasses that can be borrowed. However, if you possess a compass you should definitely bring your own.
A bus will pick you up at the Radisson SAS Royal Garden hotel at 18:00 and bring you to the starting place. When you finish your race, you will be able to take a shower and change clothes. We will end the orienteering event with a common meal before a bus brings you back to the hotel.
