Abstract

We are entering an era where we expect that large databases will be managed or supplanted by knowledge bases. Many papers and several conferences have focused on concepts and methodologies. In this panel we will try to focus on experience with knowledge bases in the large. We hope to be able to identify directions for further efforts and research, and contribute to make the fantasy of knowledge bases a reality.
