Review
This paper shows that orthogonal persistence, which is preferable from a
programmer perspective, is also competitive in terms of performance.
It is a superbly written paper, with an excellent discussion of
implementation decisions and a comprehensive empirical study.
A wonderful paper, in all respects. Orthogonal persistence has been rejected
previously because of performance concerns; this paper should dispell that
faulty rationale.
