Apply to the Summer School
You can apply to the Summer School between 14th of April and 30th of April. Applications have to be submitted on the following website:
What You Need to Apply:
When applying, first please select whether you would like to be considered for a reduced fee or not.
You will need to provide:
- i) a CV (with optional publication list) in PDF format,
- ii) a description of yout experience/knowledge about databases, and
- iii) a short motivation of how the Summer School will benefit you in your studies/research.
Finalizing Your Application
Once you entered all information and an order overview page is shown (with a timer showing how long your Shopping Cart is valid), don’t forget to click the button at the bottom of the page that finalizes the order. Shortly after finalizing, you will receive an automated confirmation email.
Application Timeline
The application process will take place in two rounds. After the First Round deadline is over, we will assess applications and notify students of the decision. In case there are remaining places, we will begin the Second Round.
1st Round of Applications
(This deadline has passed)
- Registration deadline: 30th of April 2023 (AoE)
- Notification for acceptance: 8th of May 2023
- Payment due: 15th of May 2023
2nd Round of Applications
(Places subject to availability)
- Registration deadline: 15th of May 2023 (AoE)
- Notification for acceptance: 19th of May 2023
- Payment due: 26th of May 2023
