INSTRUCTIONS FOR HARD-COPY SUBMISSIONS (Research Track)

Submitted papers must not be under consideration
or published elsewhere.

Full submissions are accepted only if the paper's
information and abstract were submitted electronically by February 16.

Six (6) hard-copies of your original manuscript must
be received by the appropriate program chair at the address below no later
than Monday, February 23, 1998.

Papers received after February 23 will be rejected
without review. Email submissions are not accepted.

Submitted papers should be formatted in minimum 11
point font, minimum 1.2 inter-line spacing, and minimum 1-inch margins.
Papers must not exceed 20 pages, including figures but excluding references.
Appendices beyond the page limit may be attached, but referees are not
obligated or expected to read them. Because we are being very precise
about formatting and length limit, please be aware that papers not conforming
to the requirements may be rejected without review.

The contact author should be clearly designated as
such on the title page.

Authors that are members of the VLDB Program Committee
should be clearly designated as such on the title page.

The pages of the manuscript must be numbered, starting
with page 1 for the title page. In addition, the paper number you
received upon submission of your abstract must appear in the top right-hand
corner of the title page (on all copies).

Your hard-copy must be submitted to the same committee
that was selected when you submitted your abstract.
