Travel Information

The New York Marriott Marquis Hotel, 1535 Broadway - between 45th and 46th Streets,  is easily accessible by air (JF Kennedy, Laguardia, and Newark Airports), train, or car.

By Air

Laguardia Airport is about 45 minutes outside Manhattan (excluding rush hour traffic). The Grey Line Bus Company is currently providing service between the airport and the New York Port Authority at 8th Street and 42nd Street (around eight blocks from the hotel) for a cost of $10 each way between the hours of 6:00 am and midnight. Taxi service is also available for a one-way cost of $25-30 (heavy traffic will cost more); tolls are extra.

John F. Kennedy Airport is about one hour outside Manhattan (excluding rush hour traffic). The Grey Line Air Shuttle is currently providing service between the airport and the New York Port Authority at 8th Street and 42nd Street (around eight blocks from the hotel) for a cost of $14 into Manhattan and $16.50 to JFK between the hours of 7:00 am and 1:00 am. Yellow Medallion taxi service is also available for a one-way cost of $35 (flat rate covering all passengers); tolls are extra.

Newark Airport, in New Jersey, is about 45 minutes outside Manhattan (excluding rush hour traffic). The Olympia Bus Company is currently providing service between the airport and the New York Port Authority at 8th and 42nd Streets (around eight blocks from the hotel) for a cost of $10 each way between the hours of 7:00 am and midnight. Taxi service is also provided by Newark Cab Association (official taxi stand) for a one-way cost of $25 plus tolls of approximately $5.

By Rail

Take Amtrak to the New York Port Authority at 8th Street and 42nd Street. From there you may walk the approximate eight blocks or hail a taxi outside the building.
