Important
- VLDB 2014 requires at least one registration per accepted paper.
- If you are the co-author of more than one papers, you only need to register once.
What's Included in Registration
- The registration fees to main conference include accesses to all sessions of the 3-day main conference, lunches, coffee breaks, welcome reception, banquet, the social event, and the e-proceedings in a USB stick.
- Registration for workshops includes accesses to all sessions, lunches, coffee breaks during all workshops. It does not include registration or attendance to the main conference or the social events.
- Students are requested to present a valid student ID from a tertiary academic institution upon collection of their conference kit on site.
Banquet, Reception & Proceedings
The online registration system also provides options to purchase extra tickets for the banquet [$57] and reception [$41], as well as printed copies of the proceedings [$100].
Social Event
Besides the regular social events such as Welcome Reception or Banquet, the schedule of the main conference includes one attendance of the ˇ°Impression West Lakeˇ± Show. This show, directed by the world-famous director Zhang Yimou, is a grand open-air night show of light, music, dance and theatrics staged upon the west lake.
